The RADD Jazz Series features the UW-River Falls Jazz Ensemble, directed by Professor of Music David Milne, as well as national and regional touring jazz artists. The RADD Jazz Series is dedicated to the memory of John Radd, Professor of Music and Jazz Ensemble Director at UW-River Falls. The RADD Jazz Series is collaboration between the UWRF Music Department and the UWRF Office of Student Life.

The UWRF Jazz Festival features performances by outstanding regional high school and middle school jazz ensembles. The Jazz Festival is a non-competitive event, and provides excellent learning experiences for students of all levels with professional jazz artist-clinicians and music educators.

Featuring Guest Artist Leonard Foy, trumpet, with the UW-River Falls Jazz Faculty Group. Leonard Foy is Professor of Trumpet/Jazz Studies at DePauw University School of Music. Mr. Foy is a member of the internationally acclaimed Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, the Brass Band of Battle Creek, and has performed in jazz, classical, orchestral, and popular genres, including performances with Joe Williams, Oscar Peterson, Quincy Jones, Al Jarreau, James Moody, and Roland Hanna. Mr. Foy is a Bach trumpet performing artist-clinician for the Conn-Selmer Company.
