UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
The UWRF Fraternity and Sorority community is excited about your interest in joining our organizations! We have numerous opportunities and activities going on nearly every day each semester. Our members are not only active within the community, but also hold campus leadership positions and participate in a variety of other recognized student organizations. Chapters volunteer year-round in local community service projects, engage in regional educational programs, and attend national leadership conferences.
Recruitment activities provide potential new members a chance to learn about each chapter on campus.
Fraternity Recruitment is coordinated by each chapter and varies in length from one to three weeks depending on the schedule by the chapter. Casual socials are hosted for men to meet chapter members, learn about the organization, and make decisions regarding their interests.
Sorority Recruitment is a minimally structured timeframe in which potential new members can visit as many or as few chapters as they would like within the structured recruitment timeframe. This allows for a mutually selective process by both the potential new members and the chapters. Fall recruitment follows the more formalized structure. And during the spring semester, sororities will be coordinating their own individual recruitment activities. If you have any questions about when recruitment events are happening, please contact the Office of Student Involvement or the individual chapters.
If you don't have the time or are unsure if recruitment is right for you, don't worry; chapters recruit year-round to find the best members for their organizations .
