Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972

"No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."

Title IX Coordinator

Gregg Heinselman, Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, is the UW-River Falls Title IX Coordinator. He has primary responsibility for coordinating UWRF's Title IX compliance efforts, including:

  • overseeing Title IX policy implementation and monitoring
  • coordinating training, education, and communications
  • administrating grievance procedures regarding sex discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual assault

The Title IX Coordinator appoints Deputy Title IX Coordinators who address student and employee complaints about sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual violence and/or other sexual misconduct.
