Gregg Heinselman, associate vice chancellor, leads the Division of Student Affairs that provides facilities, programs and services that complement the academic experience to fulfill the university's mission of student learning, engagement and success.

Provides budget and contract management to auxiliary units within Student Affairs. Auxiliaries are services that support or supplement UWRF students' education. This may include involvement or participation in Student Life, Intramurals, New Student and Family Programs, or C.H.I.L.D. Center activities/services.
Provides comprehensive assistance with choosing a major, exploring career options, finding and applying for internships and jobs, as well as selecting and applying to graduate school. Recognizes the importance of helping students discover, develop, and apply their combination of interests, experiences and values to find a meaningful career.
Offers on-campus professional mental health counseling services, clinical services contracted through River Falls Medical Clinic and Pierce County Reproductive Health, holistic educational and preventative initiatives and programming.
Provides quality childcare services for UW-River Falls students, faculty, staff and the community. Serves as a fieldwork site for academic programs including Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, Communicative Disorders, Social Work, Counseling and School Psychology.
Provides new students and their families with the information, resources, and support needed during the transition to and through the college experience. Areas of responsibility include Orientation and Transition Programs, Veteran Services, International Student Services, and the Wisconsin Covenant.
Helps students understand the value of living civilly and engaging in healthy behaviors that support the academic mission of UW-River Falls. Offers reasonable accommodations to students who have documented disabilities to support student success.
