The Society for Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activities

SURSCA 

The purpose of this organization shall be to foster and support undergraduate research, scholarly and creative activity at UWRF through a variety of different activities and efforts.  SURSCA invites faculty, academic staff and undergraduate students to participate in the Falcon Grants program and/or the SURSCA sponsored Fall Gala.

Falcon Grants

This program is designed to support and encourage students from all disciplines to participate in undergraduate research, scholarly and creative activities.  Specifically, it has been established to provide funding to support the conduct of URSCA projects in association with a faculty or staff mentor and/or to attend professional meetings with or without a presentation of the results from their projects. 

Falcon Grants has three grant categories: Project, Individual Travel, and Group Travel.  For more information and applications, visit Falcon Grants.

Fall Gala

Every fall, the Society of Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity presents the Fall Gala.  SURSCA encourages faculty and students from all disciplines to present their research, and/or creative activity.  All of the UWRF campus is invited to attend and view the work.

The 2014 Fall Gala will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 in the University Center Ballroom from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
