• Ride alongs, spend time with investigators, Drug Task Force, CSO's and SET officers. The internship gave me a well rounded view of the entire department.(2008)

• Experiencing the different areas of police work. Also the people were extremely nice and willing to help you anyway they could. Seeing the daily activity from a patrol perspective. The different hours that the officers had to work. (2008)

• Sometimes interns try to do too much. The officers' main concern is safety: theirs and yours. Don't do anything that would jeopordize that.(2008)
