In many, if not all respects, personal and community health is synonymous with sustainable communities.  Whether it is contaminants in the aquifers from which River Falls pumps its water, the disposal of waste pharmaceuticals, choice of low VOC paints in residence hall painting projects, or the availability of bike and pedestrian trails that encourage and enhance personal fitness, sustainable community design is central to health and quality of life.  The links below represent only a small range of possibilities when one really thinks about the intimate links between personal health and daily choices about sustainability across all facets of campus and community design and operations.

As always, your constructive critiques and suggestions for refinement of this portion and the rest of the site are welcome.
