Matching Gifts
A Great Way to Increase Your Giving is through a Corporate Matching Gift Program. If you or your spouse work for or are a retiree of a matching gift company, you can sometimes double or even triple your gift. Please remember to request a matching gift application from your company's human resources office, fill it out and send it to the UW-River Falls Foundation. You may use the following link to determine if your company has a matching gift policy.
Designating Gift Usage
Your contribution may be designated to The Fund for UW-River Falls, which provides assistance for the University's highest priorities and enhance student life experiences. Your contribution may also be designated to the college, department or program of your choice and used in the classroom, the laboratory, or on the playing field. Please indicate your designation when you make your contribution.

Credit Card Gifts
The UW-River Falls Foundation is pleased to accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit card gifts. There are three options for making a gift:

- Complete the gift commitment form (at the top of the column on the right) and send it to the UWRF Foundation Office.

Our electronic funds transfer program is a convenient and easy way to contribute over time on a monthly basis. Simply complete the authorization form and mail it to the UWRF Foundation Office.

Securities and Stock Gifts

Planned Giving
Charitable estate or deferred giving enables you to arrange charitable contributions in a manner that maximizes personal objectives and financial goals. Many plans provide flexibility during your lifetime, even though the UW-River Falls will not realize their benefit until some time in the future. The most common types of deferred plans are bequests, retirement plan designations, charitable remainder trusts, and charitable gift annuities.
Memorial and Tribute Gifts
Many alumni and friends make a gift in memory of someone close to them or at a time of recognition and tribute. UW-River Falls Foundation staff will work with you to honor that special person in a meaningful way.
Gifts in Kind
A gift In Kind is a voluntary contribution of tangible personal property such as art, collectibles, books, equipment or other personal assets or materials that can be used to advance the mission of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and may qualify as a charitable deduction for the person(s) making the gift.
