UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls

Camps and Conferences

We are honored to share our beautiful campus and affordable housing and dining facility with a variety of groups.  From the end of May to early-August we are able to host camps and conferences of all sizes within our residence halls. Our residence halls range in size from 95-350 beds in each hall. Whether your group is looking for housing for one night or multiple weeks, on-campus housing offers a wide range of options to meet your needs.

Residence Halls

During the summer season, housing options include traditional and suite style halls. Both double and single rooms are available, including ADA accessible spaces. To select the best option for your group, consider the following:

  1. Traditional Style Halls are designed to have many shared common area spaces, including lounges, kitchens, and bathrooms. Each room houses two occupants.
  2. Suite Style Halls are designed to have more private common area spaces. We have two different types of suite style halls.
    • George R. Field South Fork Suites: Designed to provide a private living area for 4 people. Each suites consists of 4 private bedrooms with a shared kitchenette, living room, and bathroom.  There are a total of 60 suites. This hall is only available for adult groups.
    • Jesse H. Ames Suites: Designed to provide a private living area for a total of 22 people in a "Pod" design. There are a total of 11 pods. The pod consists of three clusters. Each cluster consists of bathrooms and bedrooms. All 22 people share a common living area with a flat screen TV and kitchenette.

Suite style accommodations are best suited for adult groups, while traditional style halls are great for large groups or youth groups. Traditional and suite style halls include double and single rooms, depending on your needs. All halls have the flexibility to be co-ed or single gender by floor or building.
