UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
The George R. Field South Fork Suites (SFS) is a suite style residence hall at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and houses 240 residents. There are 60 four-person furnished suites. Each suite has four private single bedrooms, a living room, a dining area/kitchenette, and a bathroom. The entire building is air conditioned. Each of the eight wings has a large kitchen/lounge area for cooking meals and a laundry area. Other public areas include the lobby, floor lounges, conference rooms, and a recreation/fitness room. There is elevator access to all four floor levels. South Fork Suites has four Resident Assistants, one Assistant Complex Director and one Hall Director. The building is close to student parking (O Lot) and near sand volleyball and basketball courts. The South Fork of the Kinnickinnic River runs behind the building. South Fork is connected to Ames Hall through the Lydecker Living Learning Center.
SFS and Jesse H. Ames Suites work together as a complex to promote student involvement through activities in their halls.
SFS, built in 2004-2005, was named after George R. Field, who was the last President and first Chancellor, serving UWRF from 1968-1985.

Students who are eligible for South Fork Suites may choose to live in either a single-gender or mixed-gender suite. Single-gender suites are assigned based on birth-gender, and students may sign up to be in a single-gender suite individually or in groups of 2, 3, or 4. For students who wish to be in a mixed-gender suite, each student must sign an 'Agreement for Mixed-Gender Housing' and submit a 'Form for Mutually Requesting Each Suitemate'.

George R. Field South Fork Suites and Jesse H. Ames Hall Council meets regularly to discuss issues and planning for those halls.
George R. Field South Fork Suites and Jesse H. Ames Suites are connected on 1st floor through the Ann Lydecker Living Learning Center. On campus students and organizations may reserve rooms in the Living Learning Center for organizational, programming or educational use.
