Readmission / Re-Entry

Students who have voluntarily interrupted their university work and who were in good academic standing at the time of last attendance may apply through the Registrar for re-entry. Any financial obligations must be settled prior to registering for any classes.

The priority application date for re-entry is 60 days prior to the beginning of the academic term. Re-entry Applications are available electronically or from the Registrar's Office, Room 105 North Hall. Due to enrollment caps, re-entry students may not be eligible for immediate re-entry for the term desired and may have to wait until a space is available in a later term.

Students who have attended other institutions since their last attendance at UW-River Falls must have an official transcript sent from their previous institutions to the Registrar and submit an application for re-entry. To be readmitted to UWRF, students must be in good standing and eligible to return to the institution(s) last attended.

Suspended Students

Students who were suspended from the University and are now seeking re-entry must complete the re-entry application at least 60 days prior to the start of the term: July 1 for Fall Term, November 1 for Spring Term and April 1 for Summer Term.  Re-entry applications for students who were previously suspended will be reviewed on an individual basis to determine each student's eligibility for re-entry.
