How much does it cost to play?

For general Men's, Women's, and CoRec leagues the team fee is $40.00. Tournaments vary from free to $10 for all events. All fees are paid online by the captain. Typically captains divide the fee by the number of players and each reimburse their share. For more information, please contact the Campus Recreation office at 715-425-4289 ext. 107.

How do I add or drop people?

Each team's captain will have the ability to add or drop team members online through their IMleagues account

How many people can I have on my roster?

The number of people you may have on the roster for a particular sport is double the maximum amount of players allowed on the field at the same time. For example, Men's Flag Football rosters are set to have a limit of 14 players due to it being a 7 on 7 league.

Can I play on a men's/women's team and a co-rec team in the same sport?

Yes, you are allowed to play for both a men's/women's team and a co-rec team in the same sport.

Can I play on a men's/ women's recreation team and a men's/women's competitive team in the same sport?

If you are on a men's or women's recreation team, you cannot play on a men's or women's competitive team in the same sport. If you attempt to do so, it will result in a forfeit for that team. However, you are allowed to play on a men's or women's team AND a co-rec team in the same sport.

When can I sign up and when is the deadline to sign up for intramural sports?

The registration start and end dates are listed on each sport's information page (see the left side navigation bar to choose the league or tournament you are interested in).

What do I do if my team can't make a scheduled game?

If the entire team can't make the scheduled game, captains should call the Campus Recreation office at 715-425-4289 ext. 107 by 1 p.m. the day of the scheduled game, to let them know of the forfeit. This allows for the forfeiting team's sportsmanship to be uninfluenced by the forfeit. If a player can't make the scheduled game, it is the job of that player to contact their captain to inform them of the absence. In this case, the team is given a heads-up to find the minimum number of players for the scheduled game.

Is sportsmanship an important factor when competing?

Absolutely. Each team is assessed a sportsmanship rating for each game. The sportsmanship scale is from 1 to 5. An average of 3.25 for the regular season is required to make playoffs and advance in the playoffs.  Please review the UWRF sportsmanship policy for additional information.

How are playoffs determined?

With a passing sportsmanship rating, each team will be seeded based on their overall regular season record. From then on, playoffs are single elimination.

When will I know if I made the playoffs and how can I find out?

Playoffs will be seeded after the entire season is completed (not necessarily right after your last game). Playoff brackets will be accessible in your IMleagues account.

Where can I find my team's schedule and standings?

Use your IMleagues account to access your teams schedule and standings.

What do I do if I can't make it to a captain's meeting?

It is mandatory for a representative from your team to be at the captain's meeting. If your team is not present, you will not be added to the schedule.

How and when will I know if my game(s) are postponed or canceled?

The decision to cancel or postpone a game will be made at 2:00pm that day. If weather is questionable, please check the announcemnts in your IMleagues account or call the Recreation office at (715)425-4289 ext. 107 after 2:00pm to see if your game is canceled or postponed. If your game is canceled or postponed you will also be notified via campus e-mail and text message (if you choose to sign up for the text message notification option in your IMleagues account). In most cases, games canceled due to weather will not be made up.

What's the difference between corec, competitive and recreation/rec leagues?

CoRec is an option as a league which consists of teams with both men and women players on each team. Competitive and Rec are also options for leagues with each gender (varies based on the sport). Competitive leagues are intended for those who create teams that are looking for a higher level of competition than the Rec league may offer.
