All intramural sign up is now online. Log into My Intramurals using the link on the UWRF Intramurals website. Click on "Create a Team"and follow the few steps it takes to get your team signed up! You will also be able to pay your registration fee and manage your roster online.
What do I do if I would like to play a team sport but can't find a team to play on?
Register as a Free Agent by logging into My Intramurals on the UWRF Intramurals website and clicking on the "Become a Free Agent" link. Enter the required information for the sport you wish to play and teams will be able to pick you up!
How much does it cost to play? Various registration fees apply for different sports and tournaments. Specific costs are listed on the League and Tournament Offering page.
How to add or drop people?
Each team's captain will have the ability to add or drop team members online through My Intramurals on the UWRF Intramurals website .
How many people you can have on our roster? For most sports there is an unlimited roster limit. However, each individual can only be a member of one team per sport (see below for exception).
Can I play on a men's/women's team and a co-rec team in the same sport? You are allowed to play for both a men's/women's team and a co-rec team in the same sport.
Can I play on a men's/ women's recreation team and a men's/women's competitive team in the same sport?
If you are on a men's or women's recreation team, you cannot play on a men's or women's competitive team in the same sport. If you attempt to do so, it will result in a forfeit for that team. However, you are allowed to play on a men's or women's team AND a co-rec team in the same sport.
When are the entry deadlines for intramural sports? The entry deadlines are listed on the League and Tournament Offering page.
What do I do if my team can't make a scheduled game? Please try to find other players to take your place. You are allowed to add as many people to your roster as you would like. In most cases we will not change game times. It is your responsibility as a captain to field a legal team for each scheduled game. Failure to do say may result in loss of playoff eligibility or removal from the league.
Is sportsmanship an important factor when competing?
Absolutely. Each team is assessed a sportsmanship rating from 0-10 at the end of each game. A team must have an average rating of 7 or above in order to be eligible for the playoffs. Sportsmanship ratings are also used as tie-breakers to determine playoff tournament seeds.
How playoffs are determined?
Playoffs seeds are based on your record, number of forfeits, and sportsmanship. A greater than .500 record will guarantee you a spot in the playoffs. A less than .500 record likely won't earn your team a spot. We reserve the right to select the number of teams we take into the playoffs for each sport. You will have a greater chance of making the playoffs as a competitive team. Playoff positions will not necessarily be granted proportionally.
When you will know if you made the playoffs and how to find out? Playoffs will be seeded after the entire season is completed (not necessarily right after your last game). Playoff brackets are located on the UWRF Intramurals All-Pro League scheduler website.
What to do if you can't make it to a captain's meeting? It is mandatory for a representative from your team to be at the captain's meeting. If your team is not present, you will not be added to the schedule. You can always add someone to your roster just to go to the meeting for you as a proxy.
How to know when games are rained out or canceled? The decision to cancel or postpone a game will be made at 2:00pm that day. If weather is questionable, you should check online call the Recreation offices at (715)425-4289 after 2:00pm to see if your game is canceled or postponed. In most cases, games canceled due to weather will not be made up.
Divisions of Competition
Competitive:The league is composed of teams who wish to play against teams with a higher level of intensity and competitiveness.
Recreation:This league is composed of teams who wish to play at a lower level of intensity and skill. These are teams who play just for fun.
