Sixteen rustic heated standard sleeping cabins are available, accommodating eight people per cabin in single beds. The Discovery Center is in the process of remodeling the interior of two cabins per year. Currently, Elm, Fir, Ginkgo and Hickory (cabins 5-8) have all been remodeled.
Fir and Hickory (cabins 6 and 8) are ADA accessible and should be requested in advance.
Four suite cabins are available, accommodating up to four people each. The suite cabins consist of two separate bedrooms, a small living area, a private restroom with a shower, sink and toilet, and a kitchenette with a sink and refrigerator. Cooking is not allowed in the cabins for fire safety reasons, however there are outdoor grills located around camp that guests are welcome to use.
One bedroom has two single beds, and the other bedroom has one single and one queen bed.
Redwood (SC35) is ADA accessible and should be requested in advance.
Four comfort stations, which provide toilets, sinks and showers, are located throughout the grounds.
Pillows, sheets and blankets are provided for all Discovery Center guests. Guests staying in suite cabins are also provided with one bath towel and one hand towel per person. Guests staying in standard cabins must bring their own towels.
