Dr. Davida Alperin, professor (Ph.D. University of Minnesota 1993, M.A. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs 1986) specialized in American politics and political participation. She was promoted from Associate to Full Professor in 2007. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she coordinates the department's internship program, serves on the Women's Studies Committee, and conducts research on issues of teaching and learning.
