UW-River Falls reserves the right to restrict the total number of teams based on available space; admission will be on a first-come, first-serve basis up to 40 teams. In order to accommodate more schools, we will limit any one school to a maximum of three teams.
There will be a table in the University Center lobby for coaches to check-in upon their arrival on the morning of competition. If you have final questions about events or scheduling, we will have people available to assist you. Your home room will be available any time after 7:00 am. Impound opens at 7:45 AM and closes at 8:30 AM.
Did you forget to print out something vital? Coaches can do a limited amount of emergency printing in Centennial Science Hall, Room 102.
Competition begins promptly at 8:30 AM. There will be six competition periods, each lasting 50 minutes. This allows 10 minutes travel time between events, which is the time allowed between courses for students at UWRF. The University Center, Centennial Science Hall, and the Agricultural Science Building are close together and 10 minutes should be adequate.
Following the last competition period, a special event will be held in the University Center Ballroom, tentatively beginning at 2:45 p.m. Dr. Karen Klyczek and Dr. Kim Mogen will describe how all students in Introductory Biology at UWRF are actively involved with large scale research projects.
The Awards Ceremony will also be in the University Center Ballroom, immediately after the conclusion of the special event. The Awards Ceremony will begin as close to 3:15 p.m. as possible.
