UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Planetarium presentations will be given on the first Monday of the month as indicated at 7:00 PM. The planetarium is located on the UW-River Falls campus in 201 Agricultural Sciences Building, about 1 block south into campus from the corner of 3rd and Cascade Avenue. The presentations are free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages. They will be approximately 1/2 hour long and seating is limited to 50 people. The series for this opening year will concentrate on astronomy topics but in subsequent years will be expanded to other disciplines. Dates and topics for the 2014-15 school year are:

The newly remodeled Digital Dome Planetarium is available for group shows and may be scheduled during the day or evening. The cost per show for groups is $25 payable to the Physics Department. Maximum seating capacity is approximately 40 people.
Presentations are tailored to suit your requests and the age of the group members. You may request a particular astronomical subject or choose from the following currently available theme shows:
General Sky Survey
This presentation includes a general overview of earth¹s motions and how that influences what we see in the day and night sky. This also includes pointing out major constellations seen from northern Wisconsin, including the zodiac and circumpolar constellations. The program also includes a tour of the solar system and flying out to the edge of the universe.
More shows are being planned and will be added to this list as they become available.
Groups arriving by bus are requested to drop off group members at either the East or North entrance. Buses are requested to park in the Ramer Visitor Parking Lot on Main Street.
