Personal Profile

Dr. Larson retired from the Physics Department in the Summer of 2001. He was the recipient of the award for "Excellence in or Service to Teaching Physics at the College Level" presented by the Wisconsin Association of Physics Teachers at the statewide meetings in October 1995. He was involved as a teacher and administrator of the Physics Adaptation Program, a program designed to provide high school science and math teachers with the certification to teach physics.

Students selected Dr. Larson for the "Outstanding Science Teacher" Award in 1991. In addition to teaching at River Falls, he has taught at Case Western Reserve and at the National Taiwan College of Education in Changhua.
