The UWRF Physics department is proud to be one of only two undergraduate programs that are part of the IceCube collaboration. While the IceCube project has been a work in progress for many years, it is only now that the fruits of past labors can be seen and appreciated. The full 86-string IceCube Neutrino Observatory, now the world's largest particle detector, was recently completed during the austral summer season of 2010-2011.
