The Wyman Series and SIE present: Oktoberfest! UW-River Falls Celebrates the Year of Germany
University Center Mall

To kick off the Year of Germany program, UWRF will be celebrating Oktoberfest from 5-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the University Center outside mall area.  The evening will include music by UWRF Faculty Brass, the Jim Busta Band, Edelweiss Dancers and will feature a strolling accordion.  Educational displays will feature Oktoberfest history, German agriculture equipment, German geographical displays, German parliament, German ancestry and Study Abroad opportunities.  A brief program will begin at 5:50 p.m.  Free and open to the public.  German food and beverage sales available.  Faculty and staff will have the opportunity to RSVP for a meal ticket, e-vite for this will be sent the week of August 19.  Email Katie Koets at events@uwrf.edumail or call 715-425-3545 with questions.
