UW-River Falls Finals Fest showcases three acts

April 25, 2016 -- This year's Finals Fest event at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls showcases three acts:  Autograf with live EDM, J Buzzi performing "Falcon Nation," and Glow Party Entertainment from GenerationNOW on Friday, May 6, in the Falcon's Nest in the University Center. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with music beginning at 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The event will kick off with a pre-party experience on the University Center mall (outdoors) beginning at 6 p.m. featuring free Buffalo Wild Wings, a root beer keg, bean bag toss and more. If you arrive early enough, you can catch the bean bag toss tournament championship game, which begins at 3 p.m.

The concert will cater to a variety of musical tastes and features Electronic Dance Music (EDM) in a way that highlights the importance of a live music experience.

Autograf
Autograf is all about art, even if it doesn't seem that way on the surface. The trio, comprised of Jake Carpenter, Louis Kha and Mikul Wing, began not as the enigmatic and dreamy house group they are today, but as visual artists seeking an outlet for creativity. Based out of Chicago, all three members come from visual art or design backgrounds. J Buzzi Performing "Falcon Nation"
This 24 year-old artist and songwriter, residing in south Florida, has made a name for himself in the music industry. Buzzi has a unique sound and look with songs that have hit radio airwaves and videos that are visually stunning. It's no wonder what the "buzz" is about. http://jbuzzi.com
