Make Falcon Foods part of your holiday tradition, while supporting the educational mission of UW-River Falls

The holiday season is here. Let Falcon Foods give you a hand with your holiday preparation. Students are hard at work making Falcon Foods cheese, ice cream, and summer sausage in the UW-River Falls College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences Dairy Pilot Plant and Meat Pilot Plant. Cheese and ice cream are produced using milk from the UW-River Falls Mann Valley Farm and summer sausage is produced from livestock raised on the Mann Valley Farm, as well as from local farms.

The goal of the UWRF dairy and meat pilot plants is to provide students with valuable, hands-on learning experiences that will be directly applicable to their future careers. Under direct supervision of licensed faculty, students gain practical experience in production, sanitation, and quality assurance.

For this holiday season, give the gift of a Falcon Foods holiday cheese box. Boxes include combinations of pre-selected blocks of cheese with some also containing Falcon Foods summer sausage or a custom multi-wood cheese board. You may also create your own custom cheese box. New this year, 8 oz. containers of honey from the UWRF Bee Club can be substituted in place of a cheese block or summer sausage in any holiday box. To make a substitution, simply add a note in your shopping cart stating which item you would like substituted with honey.

Falcon Foods holiday gift boxes can be picked up at the Falcon Foods Store in the Food Science Addition on campus or we can ship orders placed prior to Dec. 16.
