Juried Student Exhibition in Gallery 101 at UW-River Falls

April 17, 2015--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Art Department is hosting the 2015 Juried Student Exhibition in Gallery 101, Kleinpell Fine Arts building, April 20-May 6. The exhibition is free and open to all.   

The Juried Student Exhibition has long been a favorite tradition among the art students.  Each year students enter artwork from ceramics, computer graphics, drawing, fibers, glass, sculpture, painting, photography and printmaking. Invited jurors, Bryan Ethier board president for FOCI-Minnesota Center for Glass Art, and Eric Madsen, founder of The Office of Eric Madsen and AIGA Fellow, select an exhibition from these entries and hold an informal discussion with the students about the choices. The exhibition not only showcases the talent of our students but also allows them to hear a fresh perspective about their work.   

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 1-8 p.m., and Sunday 2-4 p.m.  For more information, call the Art Department at 715-425-3266.
