Be sure to complete each item included in the Enrollment Checklist. Each step will help you prepare for your arrival at UWRF.

1. Activate your Falcon Account (View Instructionsdocument)
All UWRF students have a “Falcon Account” which gives access to essential university resources that are vital to everyday life as a student.  You will use this account to check e-mail, log in to computers in computer labs, and log in to eSIS, the system you will use to register for classes and track and monitor your grades and financial information.

You will need to activate your account online.  Please note: The instructions ask you to enter the “Last 4 digits of your Social Security number.”  This is for U.S. students only.  If you do not have American social security cards, you will enter "XXXX" in the corresponding box.

2. Pay Your Enrollment Deposit
You are required to pay a $100 enrollment deposit to verify your intent to enroll at UW-River Falls. When paying your enrollment deposit online, you will need your Student ID number and the application number that was included in your admission letter. The enrollment deposit must be paid BEFORE registering for classes since the $100 will cover your costs until the first payment is due.  Additional information about university fees and/or billing statements is available online.

All international students using funds from outside the U.S. are encouraged to use peerTransfer to pay for their enrollment deposit.

IMPORTANT: Brazil Scientific Mobility Program students DO NOT pay your Enrollment Deposit.

3. Sign Your Housing Contract and Select a Meal Plan
Riverside CommonsAll first and second-year students, under the age of 21, must live on campus.  In order to live on campus you must sign a contract with the Department of Residence Life. UW-River Falls offers 10 different on-campus residence halls to accommodate students. Costs associated with living on campus, room amenities, configurations, and photographs of each hall are available online from the Department of Residence Life.

All students living in the nine traditional residence halls and Jesse H. Ames Suites are required to participate in a meal plan. South Fork Suites residents are exempt from this policy, but may find participation in a meal plan provides the convenience, value, and social atmosphere they need.
