Dean Neal Prochnow Arts and Sciences Scholarship
Student must have declared major in College of Arts and Sciences, currently enrolled as a first time freshman at UWRF and who will be returning for the next academic year. The student must have a clear plan for graduation from UWRF (verified by student advisor) and must be active in department and university activities, or have begun to participate in research or creative activities in the department. A letter of support must be provided from a faculty member in their declared major. Preference can be given to first generation college students or students of color.

William Abbott Memorial Music Scholarship
Awarded to a music major or minor; responsible citizen and student.

Helen Winberg Belisle Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student who has graduated from a Wisconsin high school; pursuing a major in instrumental or vocal music; may be freshman, sophomore, junior or senior; must show strong performance academically; and demonstrate a financial need.

Virginia M. Eastman Music Scholarship
Awarded to a student who has satisfactorily completed 60 credits or more, has a minimum GPA of 3.0, and is making satisfactory progress toward completing a degree in Music.

Awarded to a Music major in the teaching curriculum.

Clifford James Mottaz, Sr. Memorial Music Scholarship
Awarded to a currently enrolled music major at UWRF. The student must have completed two years of study at the UWRF.

Awarded to outstanding students majoring in Music.

John Radd Memorial Music Scholarship
Awarded to an upper-class outstanding member of the UW-River Falls Jazz Ensemble who is in good academic standing.

These scholarships are awarded to outstanding performers and composers as determined by the Music Department. The recipients are chosen through auditions with music faculty.

Donald A. Nitz Memorial Music Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a music major and is based on musicianship, good performing skills, and academic achievements. Preference will be given to a double- reed student.

Elliot and Jeanne Wold Scholarship
Awarded to a student who has completed at least four semesters of Concert Choir and has demonstrated outstanding singing ability, leadership, and service to the choir. The recipient does not need to be a music major or minor and can be a graduating senior.

This scholarship is awarded to a music major and is based on musicianship, good performing skills, and academic achievements.

Lola Estenson Yde Instrumental Music Scholarship
Awarded to one student with a Music major and an Instrumental emphasis. The student must be in the Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree program. To qualify for this scholarship, the student must complete the essay section of the application, briefly explaining his/her leadership positions and activities in high school, college and in the community, and how this involvement led to a Music major with an emphasis in Instrumental music. Student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Student must be a first semester junior (60 credits completed) in the fall semester of the year in which the scholarship is provided. Must be a U.S. citizen. The scholarship will be renewed, for spring semester of the junior year and again for the senior year, if the recipient remains eligible.

Awarded to one student with a Music major and an emphasis in Piano and/or Organ. The student must be in the Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E.), Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree program. To qualify for this scholarship, the student must complete the essay section of the application, briefly explaining his/her leadership positions and activities in high school, college and in the community, and how this involvement led to a Music major and an emphasis in Piano and/or Organ. Allene E. Klink-Myer Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a student who is an outstanding music major with voice as the primary instrument. Preference should be given to a woman active in a UWRF choral ensemble.

Hilree Hamilton Music Education Scholarship
Awarded to two juniors pursuing music education majors. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. One student must be an instrumental music education major and one student must be a choral music education major.
