Federal Depository Library

The Chalmer Davee Library was congressionally designated as a Federal Depository Library in 1962.

Through the Federal Depository Library Program, the library serves the federal government information needs of the students, staff and faculty of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, the 3rd Congressional District of Wisconsin residents of Wisconsin and the surrounding St. Croix Valley.   Public access to federal government documents is guaranteed by federal law.

Printed and electronic materials are accessible to all users during all hours the library is open.  There are six public workstations that provide for viewing and printing of electronic materials for community users, but licensed software, such as Word®, are available only to affiliated users.   Standard printing and photocopy charges apply to all users.
