The University of Wisconsin-River Falls, a member of the University of Wisconsin System, is located 30 miles from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul in scenic west central Wisconsin. The Office of Institutional Research (IR Office) provides management information and analytical support to UWRF's decision makers to aid in strategic planning, internal decision making and external accountability. Through collaborative leadership and guidance, the Office provides a broad range of analysis, planning, research and assessment activities, including those that support internal and external data analysis, student learning outcomes assessment, department/program review and institutional and specialized accreditation.
The Position: The Research Analyst must be a team-player who works closely with the Director of Institutional Research and student workers to support the collection, analysis, management and reporting of key university information used in strategic planning, decision making, and other purposes. The Research Analyst is responsible for responding to data requests; assisting in the collection of data from a variety of sources; documenting and clarifying data flow; organizing, cleaning and cross-checking data;and conducting simple data analyses and preparing reports.
