SFS and Ames Hall work together as a Complex to promote student involvement through activities in their halls.
SFS, built in 2004-2005, was named after George R. Field, who was the last President and first Chancellor, serving UWRF from 1968-1985.
Students who are eligible for South Fork Suites may choose to live in either a single-gender or mixed-gender suite. Single-gender suites are assigned based on birth-gender, and students may sign up to be in a single-gender suite individually or in groups of 2, 3, or 4.
