Moving Your Belongings Into Your Hall/Room
Drop your belongings off outside the hall and then park your vehicle in a university parking lot (this lot may be located a short walk from your hall).
Since most of our halls do not have elevators, as you are packing your belongings, think about easy ways to carry items up stairs (totes with handles, spread out the heavy items into different boxes, etc.).
There will be a limited number of luggage carts near each hall for your use.
Arriving Early (Before Move-In Days)
Early Arrival to the Residence Halls: In special circumstances, students may request to arrive early, prior to move-in days.
Hotel Accommodations: You may alternately make reservation at a nearby hotels in either River Falls or Hudson, WI.
No Pets On Campus During Move-In
Due to the high traffic and congestion on campus during the Move In weekend, we request that animals not be brought to campus, including dogs. Service Animals are approved and welcomed on campus anytime.
