The Department of Health & Human Performance aspires to be an exemplar of academic excellence in preparing exceptional educators and professionals.

Mission

Through rigorous coursework, field-based experiences, and high impact teaching practices, the Department of Health & Human Performance prepares leaders in health and physical education, exercise and sport science, health professions, coaching, adapted physical education, and outdoor adventure.  These leaders will cultivate a commitment to life-long physical activity and healthy lifestyles that enriches the lives of others.
