An Interdisciplinary Opportunity:
This is a unique program that combines touring China, including access to areas not usually open to tourists, and the ability to work collaboratively with a UWRF team and sometimes students from other countries on projects with the China Research and Exploration Society. Students with majors in the Sciences, Arts, Business, Journalism, Conservation, Geography, Anthropology, Languages, Marketing, Education. Agriculture.. this is an interdisciplinary opportunity to get rare international experience working in the field. Travel into beautiful Yunnan Province in southwestern China, first visiting Kunming, the Flower City, then traveling north into the Himalayas to work on service projects in minority villages on the Tibetan Plateau near Tibet, to conserve the culture and environment. Be involved in a unique setting and travel in a place like nowhere else on earth!
