Description: The program will take a small group to Germany to study its culture, history, and politics. We'll visit Berlin, Munich, the Alps, and Rothenburg, and you'll have several days for independent travel that will allow you to visit other amazing places, such as the Rhine River, the Black Forest, crazy King Ludwig's fairy tale castles, neighboring Austria, Switzerland, or other locations you'd like to see. While we are in Germany, we'll participate in historical walking tours, take guided tours of key places, such as the Reichstag Building and Dachau, visit museums, and attend a historical festival in Rothenburg that reenacts the early 17th century! We'll also arrange for the group to go the Festsaal of the Hofbräuhaus for traditional German music, dancing, and singing, and you'll have opportunities to meet travelers from across Europe and the world.
