Financial Resources Available through UW-River Falls
If you are interested in using federal and state financial aid for your study abroad trip, visit the Financial Aid Office's Study Abroad web page to learn about using financial aid for a trip. You will want to become familiar with the procedures and tips listed on the Study Abroad portion of that web page.
The College of Arts & Sciences Stipend for International Study Abroad is available to students with at least one full semester with a declared major in the College of Arts & Sciences (or Secondary Education majors) who have completed 45 credits by the time of application, and have a minimum GPA 2.75. The award may be up to $500. An essay and letter of support are required with the application. Click the link above for more information and details.
The College of Agriculture, Food, & Environmental Sciences urges students to check with the CAFES Office in 210 Agricultural Science to see whether they offer study abroad scholarships at this time.
Alternatively you may seek out local civic organizations such as Rotary, Jaycees, PTA or even your religious institution for independent funding possibilities.
