Dr. Hardtke joined the UWRF Physics Department in 2005.
After growing up on a dairy farm in northeastern Wisconsin, she studied and worked in Boston, Washington D.C., Indianapolis, Madison, Berkeley, Minnesota, and Los Angeles.

Dr. Hardtke previously taught at Cal Poly Pomona and Gustavus Adolphus College.

She is the coordinator for the UWRF pre-engineering and Dual Degree engineering programs and is passionate about teaching and advising.
