September 12, 2011	Faculty Professional Development Grants - Round 1	The purpose of this program is to support faculty and teaching academic staff to participate in professional conferences, exhibits, presentations, and performances.
September 19, 2011	Faculty Retraining and Renewal Grants - Round 1	The purpose of this comprehensive program is to increase the flexibility and effective use of existing faculty personnel in the University of Wisconsin System.
September 2011	Wisconsin Teaching Fellows	OPID System Initiatives Strong candidates for Wisconsin Teaching Fellows will be outstanding early-career, untenured faculty or academic instructional staff.
September 2011	Wisconsin Teaching Scholars	OPID System Initiatives Wisconsin Teaching Scholars will be outstanding tenured faculty or experienced academic instructional staff.
October 3, 2011	Sabbatical Leave	The purpose of the Faculty Sabbatical program is to enable recipients to be engaged in intensive study in order to become more effective teachers and scholars and to enhance their service to the university.
October 21, 2011	OPID Conference Development (CD) Grant Program	OPID System Initiatives Application Guidelines
January 23, 2012	Faculty Research Grants	Proposals are welcome from all colleges and disciplines covering any area of research or professional endeavor, including research about teaching or pedagogical methods.
February 6, 2012	Faculty Professional Development Grants - Round 2	The purpose of this program is to support faculty and teaching academic staff to participate in professional conferences, exhibits, presentations, and performances.
March 5, 2012	Faculty Retraining and Renewal Grants - Round 2	The purpose of this comprehensive program is to increase the flexibility and effective use of existing faculty personnel in the University of Wisconsin System.
March 19, 2012	Institutional Enhancement Grants	This is a competitive grant process for individuals, committees, departments, units, or colleges to develop programmatic workshops or conferences, thematic curricular initiatives, utilize external consultants, or a variety of other options for faculty and staff development.
March 26, 2012	Academic Staff Professional Development Grants	The UWS Academic Staff Professional Development Program has been established to facilitate individual professional development that contributes to the needs of the institution.
March 26, 2012	Robert P. Knowles International Education Grants	The proceeds from the Knowles Endowment will be used to encourage international exchanges among both students and faculty.
April 2, 2012	UWRF Foundation Improvement of Classroom Instruction Grant	The purpose of the foundation funded grant is to support faculty and teaching academic staff in their classroom endeavors.

Ongoing, Academic Year	Incentive Grants	Incentive grants are meant to encourage faculty and staff to write and submit proposals for large grants.
Suspended 2011-12	UWRF Foundation Faculty Grants	The UWRF Foundation Faculty Grants Committee seeks visionary and motivated faculty members requesting grant funding. Grants may support: research, scholarly and creative activity; equipment needs; or enhanced learning environments.
