Ethnic Studies at UW-River Falls is an interdisciplinary minor that provides an excellent complement to many majors on campus.
As the diversity of our country and of the workplace continues to increase, we provide students with a program that focuses on the experiences, histories, and unique contributions of a variety of Ethnic Groups within the United States. Our courses allow students to develop more critical thinking skills, learn more about Ethnic Groups in the United States, and become more comfortable discussing issues of race and ethnicity and working across racial and ethnic lines.
To find out more about the Ethnic Studies minor, feel free to contact our coordinator, Dr. Cyndi Kernahan at cynthia.kernahan@uwrf.edu.![]()
Please check out the Social Justice Series happening on campus throughout the year. We are co-sponsoring this series and there are LOTS of great presentations coming up.
