Freddy 2GO Program for Non-Meal Plan Participants

The Freddy 2GO Program allows faculty, staff and non-meal plan participants to take meals "to go" from Riverside Commons.  The reusable 2GO container will provide an option for those individuals with busy schedules who don't have the time to eat at Riverside Commons or those that wish to sit with co-workers and friends in the Pete's Creek dining area.  By providing a non-disposable option, University Dining Services and Chartwells continue to pursue our commitment to improving our sustainability initiatives.

Freddy 2GO Expectations and Guidelines

  • The cost to participate in the Freddy 2GO Program is $5.00. (This is a one time charge.)
  • Access to the program is through your UWRF Falcon ID Card.
  • You will not be able to sit in and/or eat in Riverside Commons with a 2GO container.
  • An approved Freddy 2GO beverage bottle can be purchased for $3.00.
  • The program is available during the school year only.  It is NOT available during finals week or on breaks.

The Process

  • To participate in the Freddy 2GO Program, go to the University Center Information Desk to pay the $5.00 fee.  Cash, check, credit card, or Falcon Dollars will be accepted.
  • You must have your UWRF Falcon ID card.  An indicator will be placed on your UWRF Falcon ID so you can participate in the program.
  • When purchasing your meal at Riverside Commons, indicate to the cashier that you would like your meal to go.
  • The cashier will hand you a 2GO container, swipe your UWRF Falcon ID card and log that the container has been issued.
  • Pick up a plastic utensil.  These are the only utensils you will be allowed to remove from Riverside Commons.
  • You need an approved 2GO beverage bottle to take out a beverage.
  • Return your dirty 2GO container to the cashier at Riverside Commons.  The container will be logged as returned so you will be ready to receive a clean, sanitized 2GO container the next time you wish to take your meal to go.
  • Make sure to give the 2GO container directly to the cashier with your UWRF Falcon ID so it is properly returned.
  • It is recommended to return your container at the end of each semester to ensure that it is not lost.

What If?

  • If you lose your 2GO container?  You can continue with the 2GO program by purchasing another 2GO container.  Stop at the University Center Information Desk to make the purchase.
  • If your 2GO container breaks?  Bring all pieces to Riverside Commons.  This will be logged as a returned container.
  • If you want to take a beverage to go?  An approved 2GO beverage bottle can be purchased for $3.00 at the University Center Information Desk.
