Student Volunteers Needed

What does a Student Volunteer do?

If you volunteer to help with the 2012 Career Fair, you may be assigned one/multiple of the following duties:

• Display assistance: help attending organizations unload, carry, set-up, or take down their displays
• Student registration: hand out materials, track attendees entering the fair and collect attendee evaluations
• Refreshment distributors: take refreshments to the representatives so they can focus on meeting Career Fair attendees and promoting their organization
• Runners: provide general assistance wherever needed during the fair

Volunteer training will be held on Monday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Career Services in 211 Hagestad.  All student volunteers are asked to attend.

What does a Student Volunteer get in return?

You receive a great experience and resume builder. Throughout your involvement, you will have direct contact and opportunities to network with employers. A meal voucher will be provided for all student volunteers to be used on the day of the Career Fair.
