What is Masquers?
Masquers is the theatre student organization on the UWRF campus! We meet once a week to plan yearly events related to theatre. Every year Masquers produces their own play, which is run completely by students (which is where YOU get the chance to get involved!!!) This includes everything from directing, to set design, to the acting itself!

Masquers strives to provide many opportunities to students that may not be involved in the current productions. Activities have included:
- 24 Hour Theatre: Students take the role of playwright, director, and actor to write, memorize, and rehearse a short play in only 24 hours. Don't worry, the show is only about 15 minutes.
- Student Directed One-Acts: Masquers supports the student directed one acts presented by the Directing I and II classes.
- Fund Raisers: Masquers is always looking for new and exciting ways to earn money to support trips and other events. Watch for bake sales in KFA!!
- KCACTF: Masquers help fund the trip to the American College Theatre Festival, a week devoted to theatre.
- Enjoy workshops, full length plays, 10 minute one acts, Irene Ryan Scholarship Auditions, design exhibits and more! This year the festival will be held in Lansing, MI.
- Full length production: Last year’s Masquers production was How I Learned to Drive, directed by senior, Karen Biedermann. The dates of the show were December 2-4th and 9-11th.
