CANDIDATE ASSESSMENT SYSTEM
The UWRF School Psychology Program is committed to maintaining a curriculum grounded in national and state graduate education domains (NASP
training standards and Wisconsin DPI
pupil services standards). In order to measure student knowledge and competency development accurately in those domains, data are collected through multiple performance-based indicators, collected at multiple points in the program. These data are used to provide candidates with feedback and to make program changes, as needed, ensuring a high quality school psychology educational experience.
Candidate progress data are gathered annually throughout the four-year program. Click on any of the candidate assessment rubrics in the timeline below to view how knowledge or skills are assessed. The eight assessments aggregated specifically for NASP Program Approval are highlighted in BOLD. Additional information about how these assessments are linked to NASP graduate education domains can be found in Section Six of the Program Policies & Procedures Handbook
