Admission to Teacher Education
Initial Certification Graduate Programs

Graduate students who are seeking initial teaching license may apply for Admission to Teacher Education during their first semester. Formal admission to Teacher Education is required to enroll in courses which have a prerequisite of Admission to Teacher Education.  Please note this is a separate process from Admission to Graduate School.

Application Due Dates:

Fall
Advanced Admission* - October 1.
Open Admission - December 1st - January 15

Spring
Advanced Admission* - February 15.
Open Admission - April 30 through August 15

*Appeals will only be considered during advanced admission
