Why did you choose the UW-River Falls College of Education and Professional Studies?
I researched elementary education programs at many schools and found that UWRF had a fantastic reputation. Elementary Education is a phenomenal program that's unlike any other. Students in this program are given immense amounts of hands-on learning time with incredible professors. I would recommend it to anyone looking to become a teacher.

What was the most memorable class you've ever taken?
TED 252, the Multicultural Education course, was incredible. I was exposed to new ideas, it pushed conceptual boundaries and I discovered parts of society I had never before witnessed.

What do you want to do after graduation?
Upon graduation, my goal is to become a teacher in the St. Paul school district. I hope to continue my education and get my degree in administration in order to become a principal.

What advice do you have for new students?
Befriend as many people as possible, get to know your professors and get involved!

What's your favorite movie quote or song lyric?
"Grandma said it don't matter where we go to or come from/ She said, 'Worry about what you're made to do not what you're made of.' They say we're made of chaos/I say we're made of love."   - "The Show Starts Now" by Cloud Cult
