UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls offers a full-time, AACSB accredited, MBA program that includes rigorous curriculum, extensive business connections and distinguished, international faculty. MBA students come from diverse educational backgrounds, with bachelor degrees in fields like engineering, communications, and social sciences, in addition to business majors.
The MBA Preparation Program offered through ACE is designed for students who understand the value of a high-quality, international MBA program, but may not possess a business degree. The MBA Preparation Program allows students to complete the business foundation coursework, preparing them for success as they pursue their MBA degree.
The full-time MBA at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls is designed specifically for international students and recent college graduates. The program develops skills that leverage a core of critical and relevant business theory with real-world practical application. All MBA courses meet in the state-of-the-art Hudson Center, located ten miles west of River Falls. International students have access to a university-provided shuttle that travels from the main campus to the Hudson Center. In addition, international students also have weekend transportation options to the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area for cultural, recreational and entertainment activities.
For admission to the Full-Time MBA program at UWRF, students must have a minimum TOEFL iBT of 80 or IELTS of 6.5. Conditional admission to the MBA program is available for students with test scores of TOEFL iBT of 66-79 or IELTS of 6. Student scoring in this range would be able to begin their students at UWRF by enrolling in the UWRF English Language Transition (ELT) program. Once a student successfully completed the ELT program or demonstrates English proficiency, the conditional admission is removed and they begin their graduate studies in the Full-Time MBA program. the ELT program is also available to students enrolled at UWRF who have a desire to increase their English proficiency while also focusing on their MBA degree requirements.
The UW-River Falls College of Business and Economics is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. AACSB is the highest standard of achievement shared by less than 5% of schools of business worldwide. The accreditation is a recognition esteemed by business and industry as an indicator of quality.
