The Competencies
Students earning the Master of Business Administration degree will possess skills that will make them better managers. The specific competencies upon which the program is based are:

- Students will be able to apply management, marketing, finance, and communication principles in the organization's decision making process.
- Students will be able to apply appropriate research and statistical procedures in the organization's decision making process.
- Students will be able to apply effective human resource management and leadership principles in the organization's decision making process.
- Students will be able to apply an understanding of ethical and legal frameworks in organization's decision making process.
Each course within the Master of Business Administration program has a specific set of objectives that contribute to the competencies. In addition the coursework provides coverage of the AACSB perspectives: ethical and global issues; the influence of political, social, legal and regulatory, environmental and technological issues; the impact of demographic diversity on organization.
