The University Archives and Area Research Center holds thousands of photographs and other types of images, including daguerreotypes, tintypes, slides, and digital. The photograph collection is organized by:

• photographs from the 4-county ARC area
• • Burnett County
    
  • Pierce
    
  • Polk
    
  • Saint Croix
• collections of photographs taken and/or donated by a person or family
• university photographs
  
• photographs of the Area Research Center's history.
  

Express written permission is required to reproduce any image held by the University Archives and Area Research Center. The user is liable for any violation of copyright or the donor agreement. Individuals may request permission to use items for singular, non-profit, education, or research purposes. Other conditions of use may apply.
