As you prepare for college, it's especially important to understand that there are many types of financial aid (Grants, Loans, Scholarships, Work Study) available to help finance your education. There are tools available to help you determine your aid eligibility.
In order to receive financial aid, you must apply each year you are in college. If you don't think you qualify, try anyway. You may have more options than you think. Generally, the earlier you apply, the better your chances for aid may be. Here are some tips to help you through the application process.
Expect affordable tuition for a quality education.
It all starts with tuition.
At River Falls, tuition is a reasonable investment. Select from 12 to 18 credits each semester to be considered a full-time undergraduate student. A full-time graduate student takes 8 to 15 credits per term.
Don't forget textbooks!
Students participate in River Falls' textbook rental program, which is already included in the tuition and fees. Expect to save an average of $500 each semester through the rental program rather than having to purchase textbooks.
Finally, River Falls offers affordable on-campus housing and meal plans that round out the basic costs to attend college. Interested in commuting or are you eligible to live off-campus? Find details on just tuition and fees here.
