Meet BJ, a senior here at UWRF originally from Falcon Heights, MN. He is studying Health and Human Performance and minor in Physical Education. Learn more about BJ.

Tamra Knight, captain of the swim team and a marketing communications major, threw out the first pitch at the St. Paul Saints game on May 21! The University of Wisconsin - River Falls is sponsoring all Saturday home games this summer!

 UW-River Falls hosted the annual career event "Runway to Success" on April 8! The runway show gave students examples of what to wear to a interview - and in this clip, gave improper examples too!

You are never too old for dodgeball! Intramural teams met on Monday, March 28 for some competitive dodgeball action in the Karges Center!

Approximately 50 students embarked on new adventures as part of Destination 2011. Destination is a week-long community service trip over Spring Break. The program challenges students to explore social issues prevailing throughout the United States and beyond.  

Participants served as volunteers with organizations working with one of the follow service issues: 

• Animal welfare  (Pittsboro, NC) 
• Inner city youth  (Kansas City, MO) 
• Hurricane relief (New Orleans, LA) 
• Rural poverty  (West Virginia) 
• Sustainability (Portland, OR)

The International Bazaar at River Falls is a tradition! Each year, our international students share their favorite recipes and provide entertainment for not only the campus - but the local community as well! This year's bazaar was held on March 2.

The University Center at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls hosts many fitness events - including kickboxing! Students participated in kickboxing in the Falcon's Nest room in February 2011.

The UWRF Dance Team hosted "Dancing with the Stars" on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011. The event paired up dance team members with faculty and varsity athletes! Here is second place winner, Business professor Brian Schultz.

Check out the teamwork used by the UWRF Men's Basketball Team as they defeated UW-Eau Claire 75-51, on Dec. 8.

The dance team is back again - performing during halftime at the UWRF men's basketball game on Dec. 8.

Winter has arrived in River Falls! Over three inches of snow blanketed campus on Saturday, Dec. 4. Fortunately, the sun was shining by early morning.

BINGO! Th ever-popular game was the draw of the night at the University Center on Wednesday, Nov. 17. The lower level dining area was filled with students hoping for a chance to win prizes.

UWRF's 9th Annual Culture Fest was held in North Hall Auditorium on Nov. 16. Many acts performed, including our very own Breakdance Team and Dance Team. Take a look!
