Making Plans

Accommodations can be difficult to arrange. They usually require adequate planning and are not available at a moment's notice. This is because:

  • It's quite rare any student uses accommodations in a consistent way
  • Every student is unique and no two courses are the same
  • Collaboration must often be established between a number of other parties
  • The number of students we serve can prevent us from getting to know each student on an individual basis
  • It's difficult for staff and professors to predict when a student will need an accommodation
